LIVE ORIGINAL MUSIC ARCHIVE 1988

1988 - those heady days!! Tuesday nights at Club Foote in Adelaide until May. Then a move to Stamps Café at Welbourne Street in suburban Mitcham - south of Adelaide. This was every Thursday night with no stage and unamplified - daunting for some of the performers at first but it probably taught many of us much about performing to an audience. We just had to get better or we'd be talked over.

An enthusiastic group of SCALA members also started up a (shortlived) second performance venue, later in the year, on Sundays at Lenin's Café, Mile End.

Special thanks to Ghita Prey (our booking person from 1988 to early 1989) who supplied all the times, names and dates from February on. Glad you kept that diary, Ghita!
