SCALA Venue Videos

Audience members have been "filming" the original acts playing at SCALA's venues since at least 1990 using video cameras and, more recently, mobile phones. It's not surprising that some of these performances have wound up on the internet. Around 1994 a community television station was set up in South Australia and a couple of aspiring cameramen/producers called Eric and Carl approached us about videotaping some of the performances to form the basis of a television program called SCALA Live. This footage was based entirely on performances at The Jolly Miller Hotel. A couple of clips from the SCALA Live program have shown up on Youtube and can be found below. Years later Jim Lesses videotaped a few performances at our then venue (The Joiners Arms) and set these up on Youtube. These performances can be found below too. SCALA is grateful to the people who have filmed original acts at our various venues. If you know of any clips on the net that we've missed please let us know.
