    Ray Koffman

Ray started playing guitar when he was 14 at a youth club in Manchester. He plays fingerstyle guitar, which is a blend of folkstyle, finger picking and classical guitar technique, applied to any style of music, but generally with a folk/blues feel.

His early influences include: Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, Tom Paxton, Paul Simon and Gordon Lightfoot, among many; then later guitarists like: John Renborn and Davey Graham.

He started writing his own songs about 7 years ago. He has released a CD - Moving On - which is half original songs, half covers, and he hopes to release another CD of all original material in the next year or so (written 2009).
