Membership Details and Application

Why join SCALA?
SCALA provides an environment in which all styles of original music can flourish but SCALA only exists because of its membership base. SCALA membership is open to anyone with an interest in original music, anywhere. SCALA members can be found in all states and mainland territories of Australia and a number of countries outside Australia.
Membership benefits
Members receive:

SCALA NEWS and other supplements;

Discounts at SCALA events (including entry in competitions) or for SCALA products or services;

Discounts at selected businesses;

The opportunity to submit original material for SCALA CD Collections;

The opportunity to influence SCALA's decision making.

Please Note: If you are joining or renewing online please email your

This enables us to cross-reference payments
and is especially important for Associate memberships.

Within Australia
Individual membership - $25-00 per annum (January to December or July to June). New members joining in the October - December period receive membership for the following year.

Associate - $5-00 (associate of financial individual member eg band or family member. Entitled to extra card - no newsletter or voting rights)

Organisation - $50-00 p/a (two copies of newsletter)

Outside Australia

Individual Overseas - $30-00 Australian (airmail copy of newsletter)

Associate Overseas - $5-00 Australian (associate of financial individual member eg band or family member. Entitled to extra card - no newsletter or voting rights)

Organisation Overseas - $60-00 Australian (two copies of newsletter)

If you are joining from outside Australia and do not have credit card facilities payment MUST be in International Bankers Draft or International Money Order in Australian Dollars payable to SCALA Inc. Enquire at your financial institution or post office for details.
