Recorded at Quentin Eyers Music Adrian Miller was a member of the highly esteemed Robert Childs Elastic Band. He was one of the inaugural winners in SCALA's FOOM song competition in 1994 and he has been successful in a number of competitions since then. Gary Stiliano started playing in 1967 at 16 years of age and was in a band called Profiles for 2 years. He was called up for national service in 1972 but didn't serve in Vietnam. From 1975 he worked as a tax assessor and then as a tax auditor until retirement in 1997. He entered his first SCALA competition in 1998 and then again in 2000 when his song Stop That Man was a co-winner in the SCALA FOOM 2000 Demo Section which was recorded for the SCALA All Over Your Face CD. When I'm Near You was a co-winner in the SCALA Festival of Original Music Song Competition (FOOM) 2005 Live Section

Nicole Kelley Fruit Salad (Nicole Kelley and Andy Armstrong)
Nicole Kelley - vocals
Recorded at Lakeside Studios. Born in England Nicole Kelley arrived at the age of seven in South Australia where she was raised and educated. She grew up in a home filled with love, laughter and… MUSIC! Her father played any instrument he could lay his hands on and both parents sang. Nicole was exposed to all styles of music from A to Z. At eight she was writing songs and poems for the amusement of three younger siblings. Experimenting with different genres and subjects, the style and content reflecting her age and experience, she has never stopped. As long as she has a pen in her hand - ink flowing - words will keep spilling onto any medium she can write on. Fruit Salad was written as a challenge, someone suggesting her lyrics at the time were a little risqué and that she should perhaps attempt the double entendre approach. Fruit Salad reached fruition thanks to Andy Armstrong's determination and hard work. She entered her first competition and the rest, as is said, is history. Nicole thanks both Andy Armstrong and David Lucas for their ongoing encouragement, support and belief in her abilities as a singer/songwriter. See Andy's photo and bio under Kyoto. Fruit Salad was Commended in the SCALA FOOM 2006 Master Open Section
