Boy Harum Sweet Kiss (Gareth Durant and Nathan Clisby)
Drowning in a sea of sweat, beards and guitars…is melody and Boy Harum. The consequence of excessive amounts of hair and heart and ways to express how they cherish both. A boyish lifetime in the making and hyped since existence over hazy eyes as they peer out from above the rim of last drinks. At the heart, the unlikely duo of the kid who could win a moustache n' swearin' contest at a sailing port, age 15 and the kid that knew Tull n' Maiden would always be hip…throw in (when badgered) the spittin' image and the youngest of two…and it all gels…not like a tight unit…but like a well greased Scotsman who's yarns round a pint o' black are delivered with such soul…we can't help but be engaged. Keep an ear and n' eye out…thanks for listening. BH.
Sweet Kiss was one of the winning songs in the Demo section of SCALA's FOOM 2002.
