Adrian Miller Let's Be Brilliant (Adrian Miller and Malcolm McCallum) Adrian Miller
From humble beginnings in Cummins SA Adrian Miller showed early promise by learning to tie his shoelaces, button his shirts, and tidy his room while still only at high school. [Sadly these skills have since been lost] He is multi-talented, being able to drink both red and white wine, while eating pizza with the lot. He can also watch TV (more than one channel), read a book, listen to music, and maintain an intelligent conversation all at the same time. He has appeared at garage sales all around Adelaide, in search of the meaning of life at a bargain price. He has written many cheques over the years, and is currently working on a loan application. This year has been particularly successful, having managed to get the kids to school on time more than once, and he has also recently managed a haircut. This year he hopes to remember his mother's birthday.

Malcolm McCallum lives in Sydney and has written for and/or performed in a variety of theatre productions, short films and bands. He describes his work as being characterised by lengthy periods of indolence and torpor interrupted only when someone else has a good idea. Adrian's exhortation to "Let's be Brilliant" stands as a recent example of the process at work.

Let's Be Brilliant was co-winner in the 1999 FOOM Lyrics section. See also I Got Lazy on SCALA Big and Strong and Bitter Bones on SCALA Play Those Songs.
